After a successful Poll by internationally reputed rating establishment, Avance Media, Trevor Noah has been voted the 2017 Most Influential Young South African in Media in one of the most credible and respected rankings system that honours youth excellence in South Africa.

The poll which drew public participation from over 90 countries voted Politician, Dr. Mbuyiseni Ndlozi also as the 2017 Most Influential Young South African.
Mamelodi Sundowns’ Percy Tau, Model Nomzamo Mbatha, Medical Doctor, Dr Sandile Kubheka, and Musician Cassper Nyovest were also voted among the top 5 most influential young South Africans respectively.
Model and Actress Nomzamo Mbatha was also voted as the Most Influential Young South African Woman.
Prince Akpah, MD of Avance Media says he hopes the annual polls will inspire young people to create a positive environment that will encourage other South African youths to excel in their various endeavours.

Trevor Noah is a multiple award winning South African comedian, writer, producer, political commentator, actor, and television host.
He is best known for being the host of The Daily Show an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning program.
In 2016, he was voted as the Most Influential Young South African and was listed by Africa Youth Awards among the 100 Most Influential Young Africans.
In November 2016, Trevor released his first book Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood, which was an instant New York Times bestseller.
Trevor’s success has also spanned to sold out shows over 5 continents.
He was voted the 2017 Most Influential Young South African in Media.
