Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters Voted 2017 Most Influential Young South African in Leadership & Civil Society

After a successful Poll by internationally reputed rating establishment, Avance Media, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters has been voted the 2017 Most Influential Young South African in Leadership & Civil Society in one of the most credible and respected rankings system that honours youth excellence in South Africa.

The poll which drew public participation from over 90 countries voted Politician, Dr. Mbuyiseni Ndlozi also as the 2017 Most Influential Young South African.

Mamelodi Sundowns’ Percy Tau, Model Nomzamo Mbatha, Medical Doctor, Dr Sandile Kubheka, and Musician Cassper Nyovest were also voted among the top 5 most influential young South Africans respectively.

Model and Actress Nomzamo Mbatha was also voted as the Most Influential Young South African Woman.

Prince Akpah, MD of Avance Media says he hopes the annual polls will inspire young people to create a positive environment that will encourage other South African youths to excel in their various endeavours.

 

Profile of Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, South Africa’s 2017 Most Influential Young Person in Leadership & Civil Society

Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters is a South African model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe 2017.

She previously was crowned Miss South Africa 2017.

With a bachelor’s degree in business management from North-West University, she is fluent in both English and Afrikaans.

Nel-Peters began her pageantry career representing Western Cape in the Miss South Africa 2017 competition, which she won.

She has modeled for Boss Models and Vision Management in Cape Town

She was voted the 2017 Most Influential Young South African in Leadership & Civil Society.
