A comprehensive list chronicling the names of the 50 best minds in the sales and marketing field in Ghana have been announced in the inaugural list of the 50 Most Influential CMOs in Ghana.

The list, which is not ranked was compiled by Avance Media, Reset Global People and Afiba Consulting and seeks to recognise the works of the individuals who are motivating performance, broadening your market, creating new trends & brand perception and an impressive financial performance in the Ghanaian market.

The ranking provides a list of heads of marketing, sales and commercial of various companies in Ghana who are doing exciting things to put their companies out there and record impressive marketing performance according to Prince Akpah, MD of Avance Media

21 of the 50 people listed are women and sectors cut across media, technology, banking and finance, insurance, food & beverage, telco, oil & gas, insurance etc

According to Kwame A.A Opoku, CEO of Reset Global People, “the reason for putting this list together is to fill a gap because marketing is one of the most instrumental things that drive any cause, movement and product”

Akofa Djankui is the head of marketing at StarTimes Ghana, the leading digital-TV operator in 30 African countries, serving nearly 10 million subscribers.

She is an experienced advertising & media marketing communications executive with a good understanding of the media. She has a history of success in event coordination and production management and my broad-based skill set is easily transferable into any position. She has previously served as the general manager of ABN and Alpha Limousine Rentals

  1. Ali Ajami || Twellium Industries

Ali Ajami is the Marketing Manager of Twellium Industries producers of Rush Energy Drink, Verna Natural Mineral Water, Run Energy Drink, American Cola, etc. He was recently appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations youth in Ghana.

Ali also leads the company’s CSR unit which has contributed tremendously to Ghana’s development by empowering women, providing shelter for the homeless, providing businesses for disables, reforming and renovating schools.

Asiedua Addae is the Head of Corporate Affairs and Brand and Marketing at Standard Chartered Bank Ghana Limited. Mrs. Gyebi Donkor has worked in the port industry for 25years and she happened to be the first female Terminal Manager. She was the Terminal One Manager from January 2013 to 2014 where she managed the area inside the Port apart from MPS Concession. It is a multi-purpose Terminal which offers a combined and flexible response to the servicing demand of various types of vessel and cargo. Under her leadership, the Golden Jubilee Terminal exceeded containers delivered target of 74,216 TEUs by 30% for and also exceeded Reefer Container delivery target of 11, 130 TEUs by 124%.

Eunice Adjei Bonsu is the Director of Sales and Marketing for Water and Carbonated Soft Drinks at Kasapreko. She was appointed as a member of the board on 15th May 2015.
