After a successful Poll by international reputed rating establishment, Avance Media, Toke Makinwa has been voted the 2017 Most Influential Young Nigerian in Media in one of the most credible and respected rankings system that honours youth excellence in Nigeria.

The poll which drew public participation from over 90 countries voted Footballer, Victor Moses as the Most Influential Young Nigerian.
Motivational Speaker, John Obidi, Templars Law Associate, Kenneth Okwor, Founder of Ambassadors of Africa, Prince Louis Omolayo Adekola and Arsenal Skipper, Alex Iwobi were also voted among the top 5 most influential young Nigerians respectively.
Co-Founder of She Leads Africa, Yasmin Belo-Osagie was also voted as the Most Influential Young Nigerian Woman.
Prince Akpah, MD of Avance Media explained that, the ranking which features young people creating positive influence in Nigerian is meant to inspire young people across Nigeria and change the negative perceptions of the potentials of young people.

Toke Makinwa is a multiple award winning young Nigerian radio personality, television host, vlogger, and author. She is known for her book, On Becoming, co-hosting The Morning Drive on Rhythm 93.7 FM and her YouTube vlog series Toke Moments.
She has also worked on Flytime TV’s 3LiveChicks, Trending Show for HipTV, Moments with Mo for EbonyLife TV and is currently an ambassador to so many brands including United Africa Company and Mecran Cosmetics.
She was named in 2017 by Africa Youth Awards among the 100 Most Influential Young Africans.
She was voted the 2017 Most Influential Young Nigerian in Media.
